The Department of Visual Communication, KG College of Arts and Science, is delighted to announce that we are organizing Iranian Film Festival in association with The Cultural House of Islamic Republic of Iran, Mumbai and Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation, Chennai during 27th, 28th & 29th of September 2022 at KG College of Arts and Science campus. During this film festival the following six films from Iran by extremely appraised directors will be screened. The Song of Sparrows Born in 1987 The Painting Pool Track I43 Hush! Girls Don't Scream M for Mother This film festival wouldn't end up in screening cinemas but also in enlightening the participant with the meaningful discussion. Mr. E. Thangaraj, General Secretary, ICAF, Chennai, will be the Chief Guest for the Inaugural Ceremony. And Mr. Maniraj, Art Director, Mr. Prabhakaran, Art Director and Mr. Viji Paul, Illustrator, Pune, will take the stage for every discussion. This festival brings various enthusiasts of International films, Film critiques, Media Students in and around Coimbatore to a single space. This film festival would also provide an open space for discussion and help the viewers to appreciate World Cinema.
